National Seminar on
RESEARCH ISSUES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
date to register
extended to 20th August 2018
About the Seminar
Computer science is an exciting, fast moving and diverse field. It pervades many areas from science to industry and plays a vital role in all aspects of society. The computing and information revolution is transforming the society. Computer Science spans a range of topics from theoretical studies of algorithms and the limits of computation to the practical issues of implementing computing systems in hardware and software. Deep learning is widely adopted in data centers and being explored at the edge of the network to reduce the amount of data propagated back to data centers. Digital currencies will continue to become a more widely adopted means of trading. This will trigger improved cyber security because the stakes will be ever higher as their values rise. The use of Bitcoin and the revitalization of peer-to-peer computing have been essential for the adoption of block chain technology in a broader sense. Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) continues to be the most widely adopted use case for edge computing. It is driven by real needs and requirements. Even though robotics research has been performed for many decades, robotics adoption has not flourished. While the promise of fully autonomous vehicles has slowed down due to numerous obstacles, a limited use of automated assistance has continued to grow, such as parking assistance, video recognition, and alerts for leaving the lane or identifying sudden obstacles. Cyber security is becoming essential to everyday life and business, yet it is increasingly hard to manage. Today, almost all areas of computer science research are covered by researchers in India. Computer Science research in India is funded primarily by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Electronics (DoE), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Ministry of Defence (MoD), and Department of Space (DoS). Though we have lot of research areas in Computer Science, the selection of the research area is challenging one for the researchers. This National Seminar explores the research issues in the Computer field which helps the people to identify to start and explore new horizon in the field of research work.
Target Group: Final year P.G. Students/Research Scholars/ Academicians
